• Different genealogies differ on the wife of John VI Le Strange.  Jamesina Remfry on the Le Strange Website tells us John was married twice,with the first wife being named Maud.  The second wife was Joan de Ingham.  The Corbet Genealogy shows Joan as the only wife.  Remfry showsMaud, the first wife, as the mother of son Roger, and reports no children with Joan.  Others report both wives, but show Joan as the motherof son Roger.
  
  As with so many others of this era, there are different birth dates reported.  Focus in that era was not on such objective details as it has become in the modern western worldview in the last 150 years.
